CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade) established in 1848, is the world's oldest futures and options exchange. In 2007, the CBOT merged with the CME under the CME Group holding company and ceased to exist as an independent entity. CBOT and three other Exchanges (CME, NYMEX, and COMEX) now operate as Designated Contract Markets (DCM) of the CME Group.

CME Group offers the widest range of agricultural commodity futures and options available on any U.S. exchange. The agricultural contracts include grains, oilseeds, livestock, dairy products, lumber, coffee, sugar, cocoa and other products. These products serve commodity producers and users seeking risk management and hedging tools.
